Yes, all of the lenses on our wooden sunglasses have lightweight TAC polarized lenses!
To put it concisely, they have a scratch coating and block 100% of UV rays up to 400 nanometers.
TAC lenses are made of cellulose triacetate. Our TAC lenses are constructed in a 7 layer process. The first layer is the polarizing layer, providing more than 99% of the polarizing effect, and it especially effective in absorbing glare. The second and third layers are bonding layers, which can effectively resist cutting, baking, bending, and withstand the test of harsh environment. The fourth, fifth layer is ultraviolet absorbing layer, which absorbs more than 99% of UV ultraviolet. The sixth and seventh layers are anti-impact layers, which can improve toughness and impact resistance, prevent lens scratch and prolong the service life of the lenses. Another outstanding advantage is that the lenses are extremely light and thin.
